Welcome
Welcome to the OHS Class of ’59 website! It has been established in preparation for our 50th Reunion in 2009, and hopefully, will promote attendance and enable us to more fully enjoy this milestone.
Through this site we are soliciting volunteers to work on the reunion committees, and we encourage feedback and suggestions. We hope it will facilitate the finding of missing classmates as it allows you to track classmates on the Class Roll page. If people use the Biographies area to enter their bios and/or pictures, meeting again in 2009 should be even more fulfilling. We hope to post memories in the Memorabilia section—if you have any 1959 artifacts please send them in. And finally, Doc Reilly has developed a class blog that we can link to and chat our way to 2009. This should be a dynamic and evolving site that will become more focused as plans for the reunion mature. So visit us often, and let us hear from you, please. |

Volunteers Needed
We will need a number of volunteers to supply information for this website and to work on the reunion. So, join us in preparing for our milestone reunion, and have some fun while we conjure up old memories.
First, for the website. We’re looking for OHS memorabilia that can be posted in that section. So, please go through those old files and send us any material you think appropriate. We’re particularly interested in the yearbook photos that were used on our ID badges at the last reunion. If the person who supplied them can do the same for this site (and the reunion itself) we’ll be off to a fast start. |
Suggestions
We will happily accept any suggestions you have regarding this website and/or our reunion itself. Please contact the Webmaster with your ideas.
Preliminary plans call for the reunion to be sometime in the June to October 2009 window, somewhere in the Ossining area. If we follow the 40 th reunion schedule, we would have an informal gathering on Friday evening, a few Saturday daytime options, a dinner Saturday evening, and a memorial service and luncheon on Sunday. We need to find venues for each event, and to suggest hotel accommodations for travelers.
